I lead some of TMC's larger engagements to help ed leaders build equitably managed, incredibly effective organizations that make schools better for students of color and/or from under-resourced communities.

I lead the People Operations and Strategy work for Learning Heroes. We work to ensure every parent has an accurate picture of where their children are academically, and what it will take to get them to academic and professional success in and beyond high school.

I lead a team of HR Business Partners for USAC. We partner with business units to move their people-operations forward with an eye toward process improvement, lean practices, and people-first HR methodology.

I lead the People Operations team for DonorsChoose.org, a team that supports our 135 full-time and part-time staff.

I manage the Human Capital team at DonorsChoose.org. Specifically, my role focuses on training and development, employee relations, performance management, and human capital strategy. Additionally, I advise my colleagues on a handful of our special projects in education.

Excel hired me to shape the thinking and strategy behind our new middle school program.I've spent the greater part of this year learning about the practices of gap-closing, high performing, 90-90-90 schools like those in the Building Excellent Schools network. I've also spent considerable time learning about Common Core, PARCC, and how great schools are adapting to the increased rigor and deeper understanding these tests demand. My role allowed me to share these best practices with our Academic team and make recommendations for our future school.
