With more than 15 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, I am a trusted partner to dermatology clinicians and am driven everyday by the meaning of my work and the patients I help. With a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications, I sold media in a commission-only environment for Tribune and CBS television in Hartford, CT and Albany, NY respectively. Selling in a commission-only environment is extremely difficult and motivating; but I was good at it.Fast forward a few years when life transplanted me to the Buffalo area and I needed to find a new job, a friend suggested pharmaceutical sales. That was 2008 and I haven’t looked back. Educating medical providers about innovative drugs that hold the potential of changing the trajectory of their patient’s medical conditions is both exciting and awe-inspiring. I love being a part of such a meaningful profession and I am honored by often being tapped to share my expertise with other rising professionals in the field through industry training initiatives and events. In hindsight, perhaps I was always destined for a career in a health advocacy-related capacity. One of the great privileges of my career and definitely a “being at the right place at the right time” kind of moment occurred during my first job out of college working at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Connecticut. It was there that I was part of the team that piloted its first Light the Night event, which – fast forward almost two decades – has become its largest annual fundraiser, responsible for raising millions of dollars for cutting-edge research and providing support services to patients and their families during their cancer journey. My WHEELHOUSE➜ New Product Launch➜ Group Training/Education➜ Diverse Clinical Knowledge➜ Coachable & Collaborative➜ Physician/Provider Relationships➜ Product Brand Recognition➜ Brand Enhancement Strategies➜ Interpersonal Communication➜ Direct Sales Strategies➜ Strong Business Acumen➜ Territory Sales Planning➜ Event Coordination
