As the Show Host for the Pediatric Speech Sister Network, I lead the production of the Pediatric Speech Sister Show podcast and Pediatric Speech Sister Saturdays LIVE. In these platforms, I collaborate with industry experts to explore and gain insights on ways we can create a culturally responsive field in speech-language pathology.Through engaging discussions and interviews, we delve into topics such as language diversity, cultural competence, and inclusivity in communication sciences and disorders. Supervised grad students in speech-language pathology at elementary school, ensuring ethical service delivery & fostering clinical skill development through bi-weekly feedback & mentorship.

Served primarily Spanish-speaking children and families at multilingual service based organization. Responsibilities included intervention planning and implementation and family counseling for patients ages birth-15 years old with various communication and language disorders.

Successfully implemented speech and language intervention services for elementary students in special education in the 2020-2022 school years. Collaborated with parents and teachers to organize virtual treatment schedule during COVID-19 distance learning.

Provided speech therapy to more than 30 students in grades preschool through fourth-grade with disabilities such as speech and language delay, spina bifida, multiple sclerosis, and progeria. Conducted and scored speech and language reevaluations to determine the need for continued services.

Evaluated, scored, and provided therapy to K-3rd grade students with speech and language delays/disorders (e.g. frontal lisp, phonological processing, expressive and receptive language); under the supervision of an ASHA-certified SLP).
