Another system was placed on each car to do real-time processing and feedback to the driver.Led team of Ph.D. students to design a secure edge processing system for healthcare where patient's data is stored at their home and ML models are deployed on edge to make inference. The system provides feedback to ML engineers without exposing any sensitive information. Built a clean-slate kernel module that replaces 802.11 mac80211. The system is operational on 802.11/b/g/n/ac and supports robust name-based multicast communication. The system is portable on multiple architectures (FPGA, android, x86, ARM)Reverse-engineered Atheros Qualcomm chips firmware code, modified ar9271 open source code, and flashed each firmware accordingly to gain more access over the physical layer.Designed low-barrier entry custom protocol analyzer on edge with a flexible cloud analysis component that allows users to tag and analyze their data with a simple markup language.
