CurrentCo-owner of Barn & Field: Private Chef, Nutrition & Wellness, B&F Kitchen and Bakery at Swanson’s Nursery (2016-2021), B&F Events & Catering; a small local business for 10+ years-> www.chefcaseybarnes.com. Achieved partnership via grant with UW Medicine Gastroenterology department, developing a quarterly cooking program for physicians to support patients needing specialty diets. Here, I created all physician education materials for the program including packets and step-by-step instructions. Oversee marketing and website design (part-time). In recent years with B&F Kitchen and Bakery I managed recruitment for cafe staff along with employee relations, people & culture programs, customer relations, vendor relations and payroll. Navigated small business ownership during the pandemic and negotiated partnership with DIVA Espresso to supply product to 7 locations. After reorganizing, adapting and innovation we sold the cafe in 2021 to direct our focus to nutritious chef services.
