I am the technical principal responsible for MYOB's release systems and AWS account management. I have built a diverse team of inter-disciplinary technologists acting as centralized DevOps and DevSecOps engineers. We provide managed services for over 70 development teams across Australia and New Zealand using event-driven, "serverless" (AWS Lambda) techniques. We use Go, Bash, AWS SAM, GitHub, Buildkite, and Cloudsmith to deliver continuous change across a broad fleet of AWS accounts - leveraging modern operational ideas to reduce risk while increasing agility.

Designed, built, and implemented MYOB's centralized DevOps function with a small group of senior operators.

Responsible for a range of application and support servers within the call centre environment. Implement and maintain CM (Configuration Management) framework, centralised logging for engineers and developers, and assist in fault resolution. Assist with deployments, systems programming, and technical architecture.

Design, implement, and maintain web application technology stack from metal up to end-users. System administration, product integration, and automation scripting. Mentor and guide web application development team.

Designing and building processing pipelines at a server level utilizing Linux, Python, Redis, SQL, and various small tools. Manage implementations from server racking through to business integration.

Develop and maintain reporting solutions built in PHP backed with MSSQL. Tune SQL for best performance, design reporting solutions for internal and external clients with a focus on getting the most important data to end-users in the most efficient manner. Heavily focused on the end-user experience.
