About Melissa Ng

🧠 CEO & co-founder at Bravely — Supercharging therapy with better mental health tech.🙏🏼 LinkedIn Top Voice 2022💡 Robb Report Thought Leader 2021🦋 SafetyWing Best Remote Startup to Work For 2020In 2011, I stumbled upon 'remote work' while travelling the world. It led me to starting Melewi, a fully remote product design agency. Since then, we've worked with clients on every continent (but Antarctica, although that's on the list) in 52 countries, including the likes of McDonald's, Visa, Samsung and Citibank. Today, I'm the CEO of Bravely (bravely.io) — a holistic and evidence-based approach to mental health for both individuals and therapists to improve engagement and motivation, both within and between therapy sessions.I've been honoured to have been featured on the front page of The Straits Times, selected to be a LinkedIn Top Voice 2022, and a Robb Report 2021 Thought Leaders. I've also been in Forbes, Channel News Asia, The Business Times, Les Echos, HuffPost, Remote.com and more. I've spoken across the world in Singapore, Australia, UK, Thailand, Switzerland and more, including for companies like Dropbox, Citibank, Salesforce and most recently, The Economist. As someone who has struggled with my mental health for most of my life — especially after being diagnosed with leukaemia in 2019, Bravely was born out of my determination to create something that will truly make a difference for people going through the similar pain and challenges.Having travelled to more than 40 countries in the last decade, today, I'm mostly based in Singapore. I'm also a killer-sudoku fiend, aspiring ski-bum and a little obsessed with finding the next recipe to try out.In everything I do, I try my best to create businesses that are genuine, ethical, valuable and purpose-driven.---P.S. I write about mental health, life, anxiety and my general philosophies on everyday existence. Read it here: https://melng.substack.com

Creating tools for a new era of therapy — empowering therapists to do more of what they love, and for their clients to love their journey.1 in 4 struggle with their mental health. That number includes me. While it's been a hard road, I'd say my therapist worked just as hard to battle the stigma, share her expertise, and instill in me the belief that I could get better.Yet mental health practitioners, like my therapist, are often overworked, burnt out, and bogged down by admin. This is why we created Bravely — a new era of therapy tech. For practitioners, we simplify scheduling, tracking, documentation, freeing up time and focus to prioritise client engagement. For individuals, Bravely also bridges the gap between sessions, giving you more agency and support both during and between sessions. With Bravely, therapy becomes a collaborative journey, something to be celebrated by both practitioner and client. ✨ Give it a go at bravely.io
