Networking Business Group for Women- I co- organised quarterly networking events for business professionals around Skipton and the Yorkshire area alongside NatWest. We organise informal evenings with inspirational talks from speakers in unique venues for business owners and alike to network in a relaxed environment- the largest event having 60 plus attendees.Responsible for Event Management to include liaising with the venue, invitation design, delegate management, social media, sourcing promotional gifts for 'goody bags' (liaising and negotiating with suppliers), writing press releases and database management.

Global Lingo are a specialist Transcription, Translation and Interpreting agency who work on outsourcing for, and supplying linguists to an array of clients. Given my extensive expertise in account management and business development, I grabbed this opportunity with both hands, to join a company that would expand upon my expertise knowledge. It has been a great learning curve.I was responsible for working with mostly dormant clients, but acted upon a handful of existing contacts and myself independently generated many new clients that I have had previous relationships with. I gained a good amount of new business with major universal PR clients, leading legal professional service clients, and an abundance of marketing and design agencies.
