My goal was to identify those features and/or search results that customers really appreciate. Interestingly, the solution was often connected to having a deeper understanding of customer behaviors and customer patterns. The next step was to analyze their website backend and work with the various company departments to implement my findings. There were many fine professionals at Adorama and at greatly appreciated the opportunity to improve their bottom line and all I learned from the team! Show less -

With 100’rds of existing relationships in the retail space and our combined experience in building successful businesses, we felt confident in our new idea.We launched a comprehensive brokerage service for natural products nationally and internationally. We helped clients with sales & marketing, general consulting, and with long term branding strategies. We would review all marketing material, websites, packaging, product margins, and their sales canvas to identify weak spots in their brand. After we traveled through this rigorous process we implemented our suggested improvements and took their products to the streets. This meant introducing our clients to local stores, chain stores like Whole Foods Markets, Costco, and distributors as well. We implemented fun and effective grass-roots marketing strategies including in-store samplings and free-standing displays in local stores to make their products pop.We managed our own staff of administrative assistants, sales reps, marketing specialists, and many outsourcing partners like website builders and packaging companies. This was an amazing experience and so much fun. Glenn Cohn is a gentleman, a true professional and a pleasure to work with. I learned so much from Glenn. Show less

Distrimax was the corporate side of Kosher.com supermarket. While the marketing team worked on social marketing campaigns my team and I strategized on other methods to produce revenue. We decided to create an offline “affiliate marketing” program. Our program offered 100’rds of non-profits organizations the opportunity to generate revenue for themselves by offering our online service to their constituents. We offered them the options to:• Place our banner onto their websites with a promotion unique to their constituents• To email a promotional email that we created for them to their constituents• To invite us to their social and fundraising events to provide refreshments and Chocolate Fondue Fountains with strawberries to their constituents. At these events we would display a fun “Wheel of the Fortune” wheel guests would spin to win a prize from our company in exchange for their emails. These emails led to 1000d’s of sales. After spearheading these creative and successful grass root marketing campaigns with non-profit organizations, the results were obvious, we were responsible for more than 60% of customer orders. My team would work with the marketing team and with Seymour PR to come up with other creative marketing campaigns and to assure cross-departmental collaboration. Eventually we branched off into what was known as a Distrimax, a wholesale version of Kosher.com catering to corporations and even other countries that didn’t have access to kosher food.Admittedly, some of the most talented people I ever met worked at Kosher.com and I was humbled to work side by side with them. In fact this is where I met the CEO Glenn Cohn, he and I started our company after leaving Distrimax. Show less

Any discount store you walk into has heard of “Baby King” and probably once sold or were currently selling their products.I started off in billing and administration but quickly rose to the top of sales after penetrating a new market utilizing cold calling and strategic planning to approach different cultures and geographic areas. I believed Baby King’s products belonged almost everywhere and most especially in the big supermarket chains, so I hunted them down with every creative technique I could learn. I was fortunate enough to succeed in pushing my way into Stop & Shop, HSBC, and Supervalu Supermarkets to name a few. From here on out I led the way into this new market. Along my journies, I traveled the US building out sales across several states and sold to small stores, brokers and wholesalers as well. When at the office I managed the company showroom, assisting existing clients, and servicing new clients. I also helped operate booths at tradeshows, including securing display booths and space, advertising material, designing product displays, and meeting with prospects.I learned so much from all of the four owners of the company and worked side by side with one of the owners for 4 years. These guys were highly educated, highly intelligent, and extremely talented at what they did. I really can’t thank them enough for this opportunity and how much I grew from all I experienced. When I was 14 years old I started a business, with a friend, mowing lawns for family friends. His mother drove us around in her Station Wagon until I was able to drive. The business expanded as we increased our services to full property maintenance and landscaping. We had over 5 employees, 1000’ds of dollars’ worth of equipment, a truck and a van. We used gorilla marketing techniques to increase our customer base from 50 customers to 200 customers over just two seasons. It was amazing how a simple promotion like “Join up now for the season and get 1 flat of flowers for free” convinced so many customers to join up. A flat of flowers cost $20 but we ended up with a $1000 (or more) customer for it! Show less
