Honing in on the individual needs of our guests to create a memorable experience they’d want again and again was my number one goal. I helped create an identity for Olympia Resort with a blend of marketing and advertising and a hefty dose of experiences for our guests. We were always asking what do we do well and what can we do better in order to create the experience we knew people were looking for. Many groups came back to us year after year looking to revisit their old memories and build on the new ones for years to come. We captured the hearts of brides and grooms-to-be when looking for the perfect place to begin their happily ever after. It was my job to choose how to showcase our property and the story we wanted to tell. It was always a priority to reward loyalty and incentivize newcomers. Behind the scenes, I was the oil between departments such as the Spa, Restaurant, Catering and Room Division so that an immersive experience could be had without a hitch. Maintaining the consistency of our solid vision was important to all departments, no matter how big or small the role.

At this time, I was developing the skills I would later use to create a whole experience in line with our vision for every guest. Between creating events hosted by us to drive new visitors to our doors, I was also the point-person for detailing the events people chose to hold at Olympia Resort.

-Created all Print and Digital content for the Property including: Rick’s Restaurant, The O’ Spa, Cricket’s Lounge, Club Indigo- Incentivizing locals to visit us with repeat events open to the public- Participated in local community events to build Olympia Resort as a pillar of the community -Create and Track Promotions -Designed Menus in collaboration with the chef(s) for themed events-Designed New Year’s Eve Party Flyer and Marketing Materials (Sold Out Event)- Generated new events throughout the slow times to keep revenue up

-Build Rapport with guests to ensure a great relationship and experience for them-Increase Hotel Revenue with many different strategies in play-Generated and nurtured contracts from introduction to close-Created print and digital content and paraphernalia for the whole sales and catering team

-Guest Services (Check in and Check out of Hotel, Shuttle Driving, Bell Hop, Crisis Management)-Made Reservations (From internet applications, phone calls and in-house visits)-Concierge (Looked up directions to various places for guests, recommended in-house services (spa, restaurant, bar)) -Made Flyers for Hotel Promotions (I was asked after a co-worker knew of my capabilities when they saw band flyers I had done)-Trained New Employees on the Reservations Program (EXECU-TECH)
