Mel has been in the media and communications industry for over a decade, with various roles and responsibilities spanning media, digital, account management, production and creative. Currently, she is Digital Director at OMD Adelaide as well as an Account Director at Jarvis Marketing. Holding a degree in Public Relations sub-majoring in Art/Design Studies from the University of South Australia, Mel's broad skill base in publicity, strategy and copywriting, combined with her natural talents in creative direction and styling gives her a complete understanding of both the strategic and creative process.Her passion for the fashion and beauty industries has seen her work at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in a Front of House capacity in 2012 and is now in regular attendance at the most influential shows since 2013. Mel also owns the successful fashion and beauty website, Wilddarts.com (Est. 2012) Wilddarts has been a fashion category finalist in the National Pedestrian TV Blogster Awards, celebrating and recognising Australia's greatest online voices in both 2013 and 2014, taking out the title in 2014. This clearly demonstrates Mel's exceptional knowledge of digital and social media strategy in building brands and driving awareness.
