As a reporter I propelled my career forward at every opportunity. I began my career as an MMJ. My proven determination, work ethic, and success in the role garnered my promotion to Anchor and Producer of the six o’clock evening broadcast. I thrive under pressure and multi-task well in a fast-paced environment, which allowed me to be successful in the three roles I filled simultaneously.As a producer of the show, I also filled a management role. I developed a close and mutually respectful relationship with the other reporters and production team. I efficiently and effectively communicated with all members of the news team to create a quality newscast.I have a vast knowledge of various technologies. I shoot and edit all of my own stories on Final Cut Pro. I also maintain WRWR-TV’s social media presence and upload my stories onto the station’s website on a daily basis.Following that I began a career in Retail and Sales Management. In this role I created data spreadsheets using Excel, completed weekly payroll, and detailed and created daily tasks for associates to complete.I have taught and trained a team of over 10 to help customers complete purchases, locate items and join reward programs to promote loyalty, satisfaction and sales numbers. Processed POS transactions, including checks, cash and credit purchases or refunds. Restocked, arranged and organized merchandise in front lanes to drive product sales. I review weekly sales circulars and monitor price changes, assist customers with special services, account updates and promotional options. I educate customers on promotions to enhance sales, I promote customer loyalty and consistent sales by delivering friendly service and knowledgeable assistance while monitoring sales.
