A Board Advisor, Board Trustee and CEO with 25+ years’ experience in the UK creative industries. Alongside my board advisory roles, I was made a Trustee of Doteveryone, the responsible technology think tank founded by Martha Lane Fox, in 2019, and subsequently appointed a Trustee of Literacy Pirates in 2021 and Media Trust in 2022, where I am the co-Vice Chair.Previously I was the Group CEO of Sunshine, the London & Los Angeles-based brand and entertainment company, and the Managing Director of the creative agency, BBH. In nineteen years spent at BBH, I was also the company's first Chief Digital Officer and co-founder of BBH Labs.My expertise lies in the leadership of creative companies; primarily by fostering strong, creative cultures where difference and change are sources of creativity and growth. As part of this, I'm committed to creating equity and equality for all, both inside and outside the industry. I sat on the WACL Exec as the Campaigning Chair 2021/22, focused on campaigning for gender equality for all. We're responsible for WACL's #FlexibleFirst campaign leading a call for organisations to adopt flexible working at scale and in all its forms, and a successful Gender Pay Gap reporting campaign and petition to the UK government to reinstate GPG reporting for 2020 and beyond.I’m currently enjoying a second life as a fiction writer alongside my non-exec and advisory roles, and I'm the proud parent to two daughters.
