I am immensely honored to have served two consecutive terms as a member of the International Republican Institute’s (IRI) Generation Democracy Global Member Advisory Board (GMAB), having been elected by my peers not once, but twice. This opportunity allowed me to work alongside passionate and innovative young leaders from over 80 countries, contributing to the vital mission of enhancing youth participation in democratic processes and civic engagement.At IRI's Generation Democracy, we are committed to the belief that youth hold the power to enact change and shape resilient, responsive, and inclusive democracies worldwide. During my tenure on the GMAB, I played a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating programs that resonate with the lived realities of young people, addressing both global and regional priorities. This position enabled me to promote meaningful youth participation in decision-making processes, fostering opportunities for collaboration, skill development, and empowerment in civic and political engagement.My journey on the GMAB has been an enriching experience, filled with impactful contributions, invaluable insights, and the forging of lasting friendships with like-minded individuals committed to democratic reform. I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support from my peers and mentors, which has been instrumental in our collective efforts to empower young leaders, advocate for youth perspectives in governance, and champion democratic values.Reflecting on my time with Generation Democracy, I am thankful for the growth, challenges, and achievements that have marked my journey.
