As a member of the system HR Leadership team, develop and implement human resource programs, policies and procedures across the organization. Within each business unit, collaborates and partners with each sr. leadership team on strategic initiatives, operational results and associate engagement. Advises five entity Presidents and three Senior Executive Vice Presidents working together on performance improvement initiatives to grow operations and improve patient satisfaction while retaining top talent. Support over 5,000 associates within MedStar Health's distributed care delivery network. Strategic HR business partner for: MedStar National Rehabilitation Network (MNRN) which includes a 137-bed inpatient hospital as well as 53 outpatient facilities. MNRN was nationally recognized by Ascend as the 2019 practice of the year. MedStar Ambulatory Services (MAS) which includes 14 outpatient urgent care centers, 2 outpatient surgery centers, 11 retail pharmacy operations, 5 radiation oncology practices and 6 ambulatory multi-specialty care centers. MAS has grown over the past 4 years to now providing over 2 million ambulatory visits and outpatient surgeries a year. MedStar Visiting Nurse Association which includes 4 independent home health agencies across 3 states caring for 17,000 patients annually and completing 220,000 visits annually. MedStar Family Choice a managed care organization servicing Medicaid programs in Maryland with 71,000 enrollees ranked #26 nationally for Medicaid HMOs. MedStar Health Research Institute which provides scientific, administrative and regulatory support for research programs throughout MedStar Health. MHRI has more than 150 active scientist, 25 sites, and over 1,000 research studies

Championed the HR mission and help mitigated legal risks. Supported 2 District Team Leaders and a Group Investigations Center as an HR consultant. Led hiring strategies through aggressive recruiting and effective succession planning. Approved all career destination plans and performance management plans for 180 Exempt Supervisors and served as HR consultant for 18 Store Human Resources Managers on non-exempt employee relations concerns. Fostered an inclusive workforce with an open door culture as indicated by substanital improvements in team survey results. Launched effective strategies that enabled Districts to lead the group in meeting operational and cultural objectives.

Managed a budget of 1.2 million in government funding to support dislocated workers impacted by the North American Free Trade Act and the Workforce Investment Act. Interviewed and selected participants eligible for educational assistance from WIA and NAFTA benefits. Aided dislocated workers with finding employment and provided short term assistance through government benefits where applicable. Monitored the progress of each student, collected grades and progress reports to assist citizens with learning a new more marketable trade. Introduced training programs designed to teach resume writing skills and interviewing techniques to citizens collecting unemployment or government benefits.

Supervised 5 agency locations including 2 general staffing model locations and 3 on-site client locations. Led a team of recruiters to coordinate aggressive recruiting plans. Investigated employee relations concerns and addressed sensitive personnel issues.
