I’m a Senior Lecturer in NLP and Computer Science at the School of Computing and Communications at Lancaster University. I am also the Director of Admissions at the School of Computing and Communications and the Co-Director of the UCREL NLP Group. I received my PhD in Computer Science from The University of Essex working on Arabic Multi-document Summarization. My research interests include Arabic and multilingual NLP, Machine Learning, Information Extraction, Financial NLP and Corpus and Computational Linguistics.
