My responsibilities range from developing relationships with school and community partners, planning and coordinating customized anti-bias education workshop agendas, managing administrative duties from contracts to facilitator schedules, fielding calls from community members who've experienced incidents of anti-Semitism or other bias-based incidents and presenting or facilitating sessions at regional conferences such as the Association for Independent Schools, Arizona Council for the Social Studies, Multi-cultural Education, GenderSpectrum, Arizona School Resource Officer Association and the Behavior-Education-Technology Conference. I was fortunate to start my ADL career in the San Francisco Office where I was charged with developing and launching the region's No Place for Hate Initiative during the 2014-15 school year. It was a successful launch with more than 20 school partners. Through on-going follow-up, client care and regional outreach, I secured an additional 15 school partners for the 2015-16 school year before passing the Initiative to my successor when transferring to the Arizona Office. Within one year at the Arizona office, I've doubled our No Place for Hate partnerships with 43 committed partners in the 2016-17 school year. I'm proud of this accomplishment while also acknowledging lessons learned about strategic and sustainable growth.Again, no two days are alike unless you consider that everyday at ADL brings new challenges and rewards. With this philosophy, I was able to contribute to the organization's success in many ways. I was a key player in the organization strategic planning from which a brand-new business model for arts organizations emerged. I worked closely with the Education department to craft programs with evaluation methods that would appeal to significant foundations. In doing so, we secured nearly $300,000 to test a new initiative for using Drama techniques for Early Childhood Language Acquisition. My input as an audience member was welcomed by the Artistic team. And aside from all that, I still had the time and enthusiasm to focus on my primary role in Resource Development. My small, but mighty department was successful in re-imagining donor stewardship programs to maintain $1.3 million annual goal including securing corporate, foundation and government funding exceeding $700,000. We worked closely with Board and other volunteer leadership to execute the annual Gala event generating over $100,000 in contributed revenue. And although I'm no longer employed with the theatre, I'm always seeking ways to stay connected to Childsplay through volunteer opportunities, as a season subscriber and as a diversity and inclusion consultant.
