Responsibilities:- Supervision of research team- Design of research and evaluation projects related to aid effectiveness in humanitarian sectors such as health, food security and livelihoods, protection etc.- Training of field researchers for data collection- Data analysis and report writing- Write up of research proposals, including methodologies- Liaison with clients

Responsibilities:- Design of research methodologies related to topics such as women’s access to justice, women's participation in the peace process and violence against women- Monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of gender policies such as the National Action Plan for the Women of Afghanistan (NAPWA), the Elimination of Violence Against Women (EVAW) law and the gender policy of Afghanistan Peace and Reintegration Program (APRP)- Development of indicators and questionnaires and interview guides to measure progress against key targets - Mentoring of local researchers to improve their data collection and analysis skills- Analysis and write up research reports with recommendations for advocacy purposes
