The purpose of this community engaged (CEnR) mixed methods study is to obtain in-depth understanding of multi-dimensional aspects or phenotypes of sleep health; the contributions of personal, behavioral, cognitive, social, and environmental factors to sleep health; and whether sleep-related behaviors and cognitions moderate the influence of social and environmental influences on sleep health among 300 Black and Hispanic WOCBA.

Fostered the experiences of first year students through aiding them in their transition to UConn in their UNIV1800 class. Worked cooperatively with instructors to organize HuskyCT & serve as a role model for first-year students. Proactively helped direct students to different opportunities & resources on campus during in & out of class discussions. Served as a peer resource that students felt comfortable connecting with through one-on-one meetings with them.
