Managing a team of 10- 12 Protection Officers

- Area of competences: Refugee Law, Human Rights- Geographic Zone: Asia- Portfolio: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, China, Mongolia, Tibet, North Korea, Afghanistan, Iran- Tasks: Conduct interviews with asylum seekers, Draft administrative decisions, research and monitoring on country information

- Human rights monitoring in the context of presidential election : Deployment in Kankan.- Establishment of the regional office in N’Zérékoré: construction of a local network and working relationship with authorities, local counterparts and interlocutors.- Promotion and sensitization of the public and the civil society on human rights legal framework.- Support to the civil society and capacity building to conduct human rights related project.- Analysing and Reporting through daily, weekly and thematic reports.

- Pro-active monitoring through regular contacts with municipal officials on good governance issues in regards to international standards and applied legislative framework;- Providing technical advices on best practices of local good governance and human rights protection;- Analysing and reporting through daily, biweekly reports, success stories and comprehensive exercises;- Work in partnership with the municipality to identify local trends; to formulate context-specific policy recommendations; and to propose preventative or corrective action, mediation or conflict resolution initiatives;- Manage financial, logistical and programmatic aspects of projects (Human Rights Youth Club project, Regional project focal point: coordination of inter-institutional co-operation project (UNHCR) as well as OSCE HQ projects.);- Act as Municipal Team Coordinator [4 persons] in delegating work, managing deadlines, and compiling inputs;- Liaise with KFOR, international and national NGOs, and UN specialized agencies to identify joint approaches by the Mission.

- Participation in field visits in regional centres and police cases follow-up.- Creation of a Matrix: tool for comparing the new and former legislations on Police- Design and implementation of projects:- Networking and establishment of a panel of law drafters.- Organisation and chairing of preparatory meetings- Organisation and coordination of workshops and round-tables on the new Law on Police in all the 6 police regions in Kosovo
