About Melinda Everett
My career has predicated on my unwavering affection to explore ‘what if ‘ opportunities so I’ve worked across various sectors. Why? Curiosity for one thing, I see employment as a marvellous passport to discover that which is different to your known experience. Subsequently across my career I've had the great pleasure to: -provide open dialogue platforms for government and construction companies to talk on nation building infrastructure-figuratively pried open doors in fervent hope to glimpse the future of work for the accounting profession-explored at a policy level, how our nation can attract and retain top quality teachers for our children- support school leaders governance responsibilities and strengthen their strategic management capability A common thread thus far? It would have to be my love and passion to communicate information and big ideas that is fit for purpose and meaningful to my stakeholders. A bonus if I can make that experience fun and memorable for all the right reasons too. Off the clock: I’m an avid home cook, work-in-progress gardener, definitely a big animal lover, (seriously, any huntsman spiders in my home I catch and tenderly place outside). I’m pretty handy with random trivia facts; just please NO sport category questions! Like most people I love to travel and recently ticked off South India and the Cook Islands from my destination bucket list.
Listed skills include Conference Management, Event Management, Speaker Acquisition, Marketing Communications, and 14 others.
