Yes, I am THAT person, the one sitting in your lunch meeting who will happily dive into more technical detail than you probably cared to know regarding your new or existing program. I bear the classification of "nerd" proudly, because I pride myself on understanding the full scope of the projects I manage, and openly share my enthusiasm for my work, whether bringing a new project online, or taking an existing project to the next level. I enjoy discussing potential challenges and troubleshooting with my team, working through contingencies, and calling on previous my experience and technical expertise to help guide new ideas and directions for development. If I become quiet on the outside, my mind is usually busy churning on new ideas, puzzles that need solving, or processes that could be better and more efficient…. And it is not unusual for me to devote half a Saturday to one of my notions, fleshing it out to present to the team come Monday morning.
