In this role, I used my analytical skills to support the entire organisation with providing the global standard D&I metrics. During my time in the department, I worked as sparring partner and advisor regarding local D&I initiatives throughout the organisation. I also acted as project manager for various IT related projects in the department. Beyond my main responsibilities, I acted as liaison for other HR teams regarding D&I.

As Business Analyst, I worked with new and existing analytical tools to monitor and identify risks and provide better insights into the business. I provided data analysis through the creation of reports and data analytics dashboards. I have worked as project manager for the upgrading and maintenance of the tools within the team's IT environment. I ensured good stakeholder management for the services provided by the team, vendor management for our licensed software, as well as being part of career development for the area where I focused on strategies involving talent attraction and retention as well as people development in order to unleash the full potential of the team.

In my role as a System Supporter, I provided interface support between two clinical data systems for the R&D trial teams. My tasks included establishing/maintaining the standard for successful loading of data as well as identifying technical issues that would prevent successful data loads. I also analysed trends to identify interface issues and promoted continuous improvement solutions. Additionally, I monitored the team's processes to ensure compliance. I authored Clinical IT System Toolbox documentation including standard operating procedure documents related to the interface for which I was the process owner.

As a Student Assistant, I focused on the creation, maintenance, and updating of internal SharePoint sites for various teams within the IT organisation. I had also been involved with documentation binder updates per Good Documentation Practice for the entire IT organisation which consisted of over 300 employees. I also participated in contract management for various contract types (SLAs, SOWs, etc.) and ensured the correct archiving was performed for them. In addition, I helped resolve ad-hoc user incidents along with handling general administration tasks. I worked in Regulatory Solutions for 6-months as part of the system maintenance team. In this functional support role, I handled incident and problem management and performed compliance documentation updates. I created periodical review reports as well as updated service continuity documents. I also participated in user satisfaction meetings with key stakeholders and documented lessons learned from previous system updates. During a system maintenance release, I assisted with system documentation updates, test case writing, and participated in user test coordinating activities. I developed skills in IT Service Management and the ITIL framework as well as compliance while in this position.

I spent my first 18 months working on the largest Oracle implementation project for a US mining company. My experience was focused on Service Introduction of system integration. I performed post-production support activities that enabled the transition of system support from the project team to the long-term client support team. My duties included defect management, facilitating knowledge transfer, metrics report production and analysis, and documentation of lessons learned. I later moved into the field of Workforce Mobility, working on two different field mobility assessment projects for two North American utilities. These 10-12 week assessments involved the clients engaging Accenture's assistance with the assessment to replace or overhaul their existing scheduling, dispatch, and field mobility system for their different lines of business. I was a part of the Accenture team that conducted numerous workshops and interviews to deliver a business vision, as-is and to-be capabilities assessments, user maps, high level requirements, a software vendor assessment, a business case, concluding with a final report read-out to senior level executives.

I started off as a student worker in the School of Engineering. I mostly did administrative support work and curated in the Mining Museum. In the fall of 2009, I began working in the IT office of the College of Business & Economics. I handled faculty/student queries in person and via telephone and assisted in providing technical support to the college. In September 2009, The IT Director launched a new technology project and I began focusing my time on helping implement the Tegrity Lecture Capture System. I created and managed relational database for Tegrity, which held over 2,000 users. I trained students and faculty members on how to use Tegrity and participated in numerous demonstrations. At the end of each semester, I helped develop database reports to monitor Tegrity use and analyzed data to make recommendations for improvements.

I began working at Target in 2006 as the fitting room attendant/sales floor team member where I worked mostly as the store operator. I handled guest requests in person and via telephone. Within six months, I had been promoted to shoe specialist, a level two position. While in this role, I prioritized operational tasks to meet deadlines. I managed to stay two weeks ahead of corporate-set deadlines which enabled me to provide excellent customer service. I took on more responsibilities, including training new team members and leading the sales floor team on regular occasions. I was soon promoted to sales floor team lead, a level 3 position. In this role, I delegated staff assignments and began coaching team members. I also assisted in the interviewing process of the store. These responsibilities helped me develop strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
