The wonderful Swing GUI libraries for desktop applications fell out of favor as Sun signaled a lack of support as web interfaces began to take over the world. I would have moved in that direction but I hate using web applications and therefore couldn't get excited about becoming a web developer. I was about to despair when along came Android with a similar set of libraries for building mobile apps. Mobile is the new desktop and I couldn't be happier.I have a strong history of designing and building user interfaces of all types, exotic and traditional. I enjoy creating, extending and supporting excellent software. I'm able to bring the right products to market on time, under budget, in highly maintainable forms. I never reinvent the wheel.
