The Honor Foundation is deeply committed to aiding service members and their spouses as they navigate the inevitable “culture shock” of the transition from military to civilian life. As an Ombudsman, I served as an information link between command leadership and Navy families. I provided resource referrals when needed, and was often involved in resolving family issues before they required extensive command attention. I provided deployment support by organizing large troop events meant to educate and support families of service members.
