With over 32 years of experience as a physician assistant, I am currently the Chair of Admissions and Assistant Professor at South University, Austin, where I manage the PA student selection and admission process and teach various PA courses. I hold a Doctor of Medical Science degree from A.T. Still University and a PA-C certification from the NCCPA.My core competencies are education, leadership, and advocacy for the PA profession. I have served in various national and state professional organizations, such as the AAPA, TAPA, and the FDA, where I have contributed to policy development, regulation, and research. I have also received multiple honors and certifications for my research, presentation, and communication skills. Additionally, I have extensive experience in telemedicine, migraine management, orthopedic spine, sports medicine, and interventional pain medicine, among others. My passion is to promote PA excellence, diversity, and collaboration in the healthcare industry.
