About Melinda Truax

Melinda Truax is officially retired. I can now volunteer full time for the The Nick of Time Foundation and Sound Pathways. My 49 years of work related skills included outside sales, print and digital advertising, marketing, and trade shows. In 2013, our family suffered a great loss when our 16 year old son Matthew suffered a sudden cardiac arrest from an undiagnosed heart condition. Since then we have honored his young life by volunteering for the Nick of Time Foundation and spreading heart health awareness to families. His loss also taught me how precious life is and by finding something I can be passionate about such as my volunteer work helps make living life so much more enjoyable.
