I am an Applied Psychologist specialized in social justice and human rights advocacy, equity and inclusion, anti-bias, and humane education. I have over a decade of social science research practice behind me, in addition to overseeing research teams and projects, focused on helping organizations build better initiatives, programs, processes and policies. I have helped a multitude of organizations in various industries (non-profit, charities, research firms, corporate, public sector, universities) to successfully build more equitable practices, programs, and policies. My work is grounded in intersectionality and cultural humility, with a focus on immigrant, LGBTQ+ rights, anti-racism work, dehumanization & speciesism. I am interested in remote/virtual work or in hybrid work with organizations who are committed to transformative change, are thirsty for knowledge, and are able to appreciate and utilize insight from a minoritized woman with expertise.My lived experience as a first-generation immigrant woman with intersectional identities and my incorporation of expressive arts make propel me illustrate themes of adversity and resilience through stories, music, poetry, and other forms of art.
