Hello! I’m Melisa and I build sustainable communities through entrepreneurship and learning.I co-founded Langit Collective, a social enterprise that bridges the gap between rural and remote farmers to markets. Our work enables urban consumers to enjoy ethically sourced products whilst improving the livelihoods of over 80 farmers in rural Malaysia. I spend most of my time working on strategic brand building, creating compelling content, and utilizing digital marketing to expand the brand's reach. Today, Langit has achieved appreciation in the HORECA and wellness consumer niche in Malaysia and Singapore.More recently, I've expanded my skills to design and deliver capacity-building programs for aspiring rural micropreneurs. I leverage on diverse learning techniques and tailored content to bridge the knowledge gap of adult learners. I believe that access to knowledge is the first step to building a more sustainable and equitable future for communities. I embrace a beginner's mind and take a needs-based approach when creating solutions that address pressing social and environmental challenges.
