Managed a $3.3 million statewide campaign to celebrate and commemorate Oregon’s 150th year of statehood. Fulfilled the mission of a grassroots effort to engage all Oregonians resulting in an 83% awareness upon completion of the nine-month sesquicentennial campaign. Worked closely with the Governor's Office, and made sure the Governor's vision for the sesquicentennial was fulfilled. This was an ultimate experience in project management with multiple high-level stateholders.Financial/Development: Responsible for project and organizational budgets, reconciling financial reports, and reviewing cash flow. Staff: Responsible for building and managing a strong professional staff of seven individuals who functioned as an effective team. Marketing: Implemented strategic marketing plan developed by the Board of Directors, attracted coverage by both print and television news outlets, and successfully encouraged wide participation in events.

Responsible for operational and financial oversight of two locations simultaneously with an annual combined operating revenue of over $1.0 million. Improved financial performance of businesses from a net loss of more than $200,000 to a net income of over $130,000 in my first full year as manager before the locations were divested.
