I help the graduate students in the Buss Lab advance their current projects in any way possible. I have worked recruiting participants for studies, conducting interviews, building Qualtrics surveys, advertising surveys on social media, training new assistants on study protocol, designing posters for conferences, and presenting current lab research at conferences. Through the Buss Lab, I have gained experience on all aspects of the research process, and am working to build a thesis of my own.

I work as an Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Human Sexuality. I hold weekly office hours, answer emails, and keep up-to-date with the coursework to help maintain a class of over 400 students.

I attended a research-based faculty study abroad program in Ghanzi, Botswana - hosted and funded by my university. We were taught the impact of various environmental challenges on social, economic, and political organizations throughout the country. We also worked on-site collecting plot data for GIS systems, supporting research on the longitudinal impacts of environmental disturbances on vegetation growth conducted by our professor.

Assisted teachers in a day care classroom of 2-3 year old children. Maintained child routines, served mealtimes, and provided consistent supervision. Answered all the questions a 3 year old has about the world.
