I was a founding member of McDermott's Internet business and privacy group. Providing expert legal advice in all aspects of data privacy under the EU ePrivacy Directive while maintaining an active technology transactional and intellectual property practice. Significantly, I advised clients on the appropriate commercialize of two of the world's largest databases of personal information. During my tenure, I guided clients through two major business cycles of eCommerce growth and divestment, boom and bust, gaining a practical perspective on the importance of straightforward legal advice in corporate and mission-critical transactions.
