I am a Chemistry graduate from Memorial University of Newfoundland ultimately looking to pursue a career in clinical pathology or industrial pharmacy.In some way, shape or form, I believe everyone has evidenced that foresight can be blind. To some, my current employment in the banking sector juxtaposed with my science background may be another example. Yet I really enjoy banking, and I think this ultimately boils down to its problem solving element - a series of 'what's' and 'how's'. 'What is wrong and how do I fix it?' 'What can I do and how do I do it?' I'd like to think I'm a problem solver and that pathology is how I'd like to best manifest that. But I take every step towards that as if it's a milestone - and my position in banking at TD is no different. There is no denying the sense of fulfilment that comes with helping to resolve clients' concerns or piecing financial puzzles together. There are ample supplies of 'what's' and 'how's' that continue to challenge me and inspire me to learn. Luckily, there's a lot of learning coming my way since I'm relatively new to this sector, and I believe this milestone will continue to grow in significance to my career history.What else can I say for adaptability? I was born in Ghana, raised in Qatar and am now situated in, arguably, one of the most meteorologically dissonant provinces in Canada. If nothing else, I can say that I am welcome to challenge and change for sure!
