I am an experienced human rights lawyer with a specialised focus on international law, criminal law, and administrative law. I am a passionate practitioner, teacher, and educator and believe in the power of mentoring and movement lawyering. I completed my Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney in November 2015, achieving First Class Honours and the University Medal in Law. I am currently studying a Master of Law (LLM) at the University of Cambridge as the Davis McCaughey Scholar and am also a Reservist Legal Officer in the Royal Australian Navy. I have previously worked as a Criminal Lawyer at Legal Aid NT in Alice Springs and Darwin; Senior Lawyer at the Australian Centre for International Justice; Casual Academic at Charles Darwin University, the University of NSW and the University of Sydney; (full time) Legal Officer in the Royal Australian Navy; and Trainee Solicitor at Fitzroy Legal Service. I dedicate my time to opportunities that involve a combination of casework, research, law reform, government advocacy, teaching and education. I am always open to collaborations with other passionate lawyers, educators, movements and organisations, and to mentoring new lawyers and law students.
