As a graduate assistant at the Center for the Blue Economy, I am creating online materials for a public awareness campaign on white sharks along California's Central Coast. Additionally, I am refining behavior design strategies to encourage positive conservation actions for white sharks and their habitats.

I researched current and proposed legislation on marine carbon dioxide removal (mCDR) and expanded an ecosystem map by identifying key actors in the mCDR field. I also conducted literature reviews on community outreach, governance, and environmental justice challenges to develop strategies for effective and safe mCDR engagement.

I authored the company’s first sustainability report by documenting Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions generated from operational activities. From this information, I formulated remediation recommendations to advance the company’s sustainability goals. I collaborated with warehouse supervisors to develop documents detailing the required operational procedures and managed quarterly internal audits to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.

As the first member of the fundraising team, I designed a donor management plan that outlines the future fundraising strategy. I created and managed a donor database to track the profiles of existing donors.

Under the supervision of a California Professional Geologist, I compiled a site characterization report. I created subsurface boring logs using LogitEASY software and compiled the analytical results of contaminated soil analyses for a Phase I site assessment.
