My passion is to engage and inform individuals and communities about the critical need to support and serve those who are blind or visually impaired. I have always had a heart to serve, encourage, and mentor others. As an elementary school teacher, I helped shape the lives of young children and provided them with the skills they would need to thrive. The years I spent mentoring and raising funds for families experiencing homelessness showed me the needs that exist for underserved communities and the real impact individuals and organizations can make. In my role at Leader Dog as the Chief Philanthropy and Marketing Officer, I am able to combine my passion for educating and serving others, with the ability to make organizational impact through fundraising and marketing strategies. In my current role, my desire is continued and shared success with the many talented individuals with whom I work. The work we do collectively is only possible because of the Leader Dog community.
