Currently ANSTO’s Senior Advisor for Government and International Affairs, I manage interactions at all levels of government to advance ANSTO’s reputation and to promote its capabilities and impact. I maintain relationships with key stakeholders and manage bilateral links with counterpart overseas governments and institutions. I work to respond to ANSTO’s mandate of providing trusted advice, by providing expert advice to Government and international stakeholders on all matters relating to nuclear science and technology, and by overseeing and hosting political and VIP visits to ANSTO.Prior to this, I worked in International Human Rights Policy for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, working to advance human rights globally through bilateral relationships, development assistance and humanitarian support with civil society, as well as through regional and multilateral engagement, including with several United Nations bodies.I also have experience in national and international security, political engagement, and international aid and development for the Australian Government, and spent a number of years in the private sector.
