• Perform routine pathology testing of urine samples and swab samples for the detection of bacterial organisms in patient specimens.• Extensive use of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to scan, read, and interpret specimen samples and patient request slip information.

• Perform routine microbiological testing of water, wastewater, and soil samples for detection of bacterial organisms in the environment.• Conduct plant counts, water pour off and water filtrations testing methods, pipetting, and agar pour plates.

• Perform routine microbiological testing of water and wastewater for detection of bacterial organisms in the environment.• Operate an autoclave, prepare agar media, reading a pH meter, accurate specimen labelling and record keeping.
