• Role – Collaborates with outpatient teams to monitor and submit prior and concurrent insurance authorizations for Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health IOP programs. Tracks authorizations for 6 IOP cohorts. Works closely with outpatient clinicians and attends staffing meetings.• Position was new to agency upon hire. Developed manual for processes and detailed role responsibilities. • Created ASAM training and utilization review process and presented to outpatient teams. Trains newly hired clinicians on utilization review.• Coaches staff in ASAM assessments and documentation expectations. • Assists outpatient leadership team with various projects such as: Revamping SUD IOP group curriculum, creating ASAM reference guide for clinicians, determining new curricula for groups, developed a 55-page team building activity binder, revised the Outpatient Clinician Guide that is provided to all outpatient clinical staff.• Participated as a “Superuser” for implementation of Avatar NX and Epic EHRs. Attended discovery meetings, developed training guides and assisted with training staff.

• Role – Responsible for managing the operations of a 16 bed Co-Occurring Residential Circle Program. Assisted with program development and hiring team of approximately 20 staff members. Joined the Garcia House leadership team in September of 2020, hired team beginning in November 2020 and opened program to clients in February 2021. • Worked closely with the Director of Forensic Services, Chief of Addiction Medicine, Chief of Medicine, and Chief of Clinical Services to ensure program development met agency mission and values.• Built group schedule and clinical curriculum in line with regulations and CARF accreditation requirements. Developed programming operations and staff responsibilities. • Supervised leadership team of Nursing Supervisor, Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor in addition to administratively supervising clinical team (therapists, case manager)• Engaged in outreach with partners to discuss Garcia House program and effectively worked to collaborate care. • Provided individual and CAC Supervision to staff. Facilitated weekly team meeting and staff trainings.

• Role – Supervised a team of 7 Master’s level clinicians embedded with 5 first responder agencies (Loveland Police Department, Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, Estes Park Police Department, Fort Collins Police Services, Thompson Valley EMS) in addition to 1 case manager. The Co Responder clinicians respond in conjunction with law enforcement to behavioral health emergencies to provide on site crisis assessment, safety planning and connection to resources in addition to after the fact follow up.• Provided individual and CAC Supervision to staff. Facilitated weekly team meeting and monthly coordination meeting.• Engaged in consistent outreach with Summit Stone teams and community partners to further expand Co Responder program.

• Role - Primary counselor working with outpatient mental health and addictions clients.• Provided clients with individual therapy sessions as well as facilitating the following groups on a weekly basis: Healthy Relationships, SUD IOP, Acuwellness.• Developed 12-week curriculum for Healthy Relationships group.

• Clinical Role – Clinical therapist team lead in Intensive Residential Treatment (IRT), Residential Dual Diagnosis Treatment (RDDT) and residential programs located in Intervention Community Correction Services (ICCS) facility.• Facilitated groups: Men in Recovery, Relapse Prevention, Group Process, Presentations, DBT, Seeking Safety.• Provided weekly individual therapy sessions with male and female clients. • Conducted intake assessments with clients. • Accepted team lead position October 2017.• Administrative duties: performing audits, task delegation, collaboration between clinical and case management services, managing referrals, assignment of clients, monthly billing, provides brief training to new case management and security employees regarding clinical involvement.• Prior to resignation was awarded title of Supervisor for approximately 3 months working with the first Court Liaison and Outpatient Competency Restoration programs nationwide.
