Led a team of six HR professionals across two campuses to deliver full service HR support from payroll and benefits administration, talent acquisition and employee relations to organizational effectiveness initiatives. Defined, developed and executed HR team purpose, mission and objectives in support of University’s Strategic Plan. Designed and implemented professional development program for all faculty and staff to build bench, improve managerial competency and enhance individual performance. Successfully transitioned Retirement Plan from one record keeper to another to improve participant experience and retirement savings. Oversaw Employee Wellness Program design and execution that led to KC Chamber’s Platinum Workplace Wellness Certification.

Selected to lead HR support for the North America (NA) Retail Banking Operations and, in April 2015, the NA Branded Cards Operations organizations. Directly lead an HR team of 2-7 HR Advisors that focus on delivering organizational efficiency and effectiveness initiatives, talent development improvement strategies and change management proficiency. Recognized by business leaders as a valued, trustworthy advisor and partner who develops human capital initiatives to achieve business objectives.

Selected to lead transition from a functional to a geographic HR model with responsibility for multiple, various site locations throughout NA Consumer O&T. Role included direct management of 4-13 Site HR Managers and their respective HR teams. Owned day to day oversight for HR team goal setting and achievement, site cultural initiatives and childcare centers, workforce migrations and business/ HR restructures, HR process improvement and compliance (risk management), employee relations and complaint resolution process. In April, 2011, promoted to lead the newly formed NA O&T HR Model (or “Geo Model”) consisting of the direct management of eleven HR Area Managers and their respective teams of ninety-five HR Managers and HR Generalists across twenty five sites in the network. Businesses supported included Investment/Institutional Banking, Cards, Retail Banking and Mortgages along with several operational utilities (Collections, Credit, Transaction Services, Fraud, Technology, Finance, etc.) for a total employee count of approximately 30,000.

Quickly promoted to partner with Cards Collections Senior Executive to identify business improvement agenda and lead HR team across North America in support of the function. Designed and managed the execution of consistent HR strategies in alignment with functional agenda. Indirectly responsible for HR Generalist team of 20 across 14 sites.

Promoted to partner with Site President and lead HR team in Kansas City, MO, Cards operations site consisting of thirteen HR, Staffing and Administrative professionals. Created and led execution of HR agenda to support business and site improvement strategies.
