My passion for caring and positively influencing people led me to choose a career in the medical field, medical assisting. I believe that compassion is key and treating each person with respect and dignity will allow me to give the best possible service I can.I believe that advancement in the workforce comes with good experience and that is what I love about working at Providence. I believe that a positive, encouraging work environment leads to successful employees, and I enjoy being part of such a team. My work history includes clinical experience with previous experience in patient healthcare services and billing. During my time as a Patient Financial Coordinator, I developed good customer service skills and learned how to positively handle angry patients and how to advocate for their needs. While attending Concorde, I excelled in patient education, vital signs monitoring, and assisting with medical procedures, always with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction. I earned a 4.0 grade average throughout and have the following certifications and training: CPR, HIPPA Compliance Guidelines, Bloodborne Pathogens, and HIV/Aids Training. I am currently working towards a bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration with a graduation date of December 2026.The medical field provides opportunities that I believe will be a fit for me for the rest of my working career. I am excited to see the advancements made in the medical field and how I will be able to implement them in my career to aid in the best treatment of the patients that I serve.
