• Met with local community organizations to discuss their needs and present recommendations to management for Marathon sponsorship, as a Community Relations representative• Member of the Diversity & Inclusion team that focuses on D&I communication, participation, and awareness throughout the refinery • Led the Job Shadowing Program to give employees an opportunity to expand their knowledge and have the chance to see a department/role that they otherwise would have limited exposure to• Assisted in developing a Women's Group to provide opportunities for networking, mentorship and support to the women at Detroit's refinery• Supported Operations and Product Controls as a client group, consisting of roughly 160 employees, represented by the Teamsters Local #283• Conducted investigation meetings, consulted management, and cross-referenced discipline records to recommend appropriate course of action• Administered discipline to hourly employees for poor performance, inattentiveness to job duties, procedure violations, attendance, and failure to complete training• Facilitated harassment training to hourly maintenance and operations employees• Collaborated with a team of six, consisting of HR, operations supervisors and hourly personnel, to conduct 50 interviews and extend eight offers of employment to entry-level Refinery Operators• Coordinated the volunteer activities and work schedule for the annual United Way Golf Classic fundraiser• Assisted in the United Way Campaign Kickoff and subsequent auction

• Spearheaded full cycle recruitment process for 500+ candidates including requisitions, sourcing, phone interviews, making recommendations, and compiling final offers• Developed and led first day orientations for 27 interns and 63 full-time employees that included an outline of company policies and processes, along with a building tour and introduction to executives• Administered total compensation package including summary of benefits, enrollment, and changes for health insurance, disability insurance, retirement and compensation for 173 employees• Collaborated with two HR team members in the creation and implementation of new flextime and volunteer time off policies that successfully boosted employee morale• Supported the transition of open enrollment to a paperless online open enrollment that reduced processing time and allowed for less error in benefit elections• Mentored HR Intern; introduced Aristeo’s culture, policies, and processes while leveraging HR education with real world experience that resulted in a successful employee transition
