Managed Judicial and Non-Judicial foreclosures within a 16-state footprint for an average of 100-120 delinquent mortgage accounts at any given time. Worked closely with multiple attorneys to coordinate the foreclosure process in compliance with federal and state regulations. Work closely with the Forbearance Department to collect all required documentation for the underwriter’s analysis. Provide consistent follow up with the customer throughout the process, from trial payment plans through closing.MORTGAGE DEFAULT SPECIALIST (2009-2012): Prepared delinquent mortgage accounts for foreclosure or charge off, based on current market equity analysis. Determine the appropriate disposition of the property, and when possible, mitigate losses by working with customers to arrange repayment terms in order to reinstate the loan. Negotiate short sale/settlement offers with customers who are dealing with losses over decreased property values. Communicate on a regular basis with other areas within the bank, such Loan Operations and the Forbearance Department. Ensure accurate records of documentation, fees and payments. Monitor progress of attorneys, title companies, and vendors who provide surveys, appraisals, etc. Awarded “Employee of the Month” in 2009, and received “Top Performer” on six separate occasions.
