Provided instruction to adult students enrolled in the Associate Degree in Nursing program. Planned and implemented course objectives to meet current NCBON standards for ADN program. Experience teaching and tutoring students in Medical/Surgical Nursing, Pharmacology, and Maternal/Child Nursing. Clinical instructor for Medical/Surgical and Maternal/Child Nursing rotations. As course coordinator for Maternal/Child course, I managed the clinical experience for 60+ students, the didactic education provided in the classroom and all tests/exams to ensure appropriate level of mastery was achieved. Facilitated student learning in a virtual, simulation rich learning environment as well as classroom and clinical environments. Participated in National League of Nursing accreditation preparation. Attended NLNAC Conference, March 2012. Served as student advisor and mentor.
