I have worked on the finance side of the house—from research and analysis to consulting and finance management—for more than 20 years. I love how finance allows for creative planning and problem solving with activities like budgeting and forecasting while still appealing to my very detailed and analytical mind with its day-to-day tasks that keep everything in order. After joining the wellness committee at my former company, I found that this type of analytical thinking could extend beyond just the financial success of my company to the existential success of a great number of people. I’m very much a planner and a problem solver, and creatively planning budgets and strategy to implement wellness programs that really make a difference ignited a new passion in me. When I joined HPMI, I was able to bring all of these gratifying challenges together. I wear a lot of different hats, from finance to accounting, account management to operations, and have the privilege of using my analytical creativity to not only help HPMI thrive, but our clients and their employees as well. My attention to detail and ability to think out of the box has helped form new opportunities through creative vendor relationships and innovative offerings. I enjoy contributing to the strategy of the business, and reap the rewards on both a personal and professional level when I see the way our programs change people’s lives.
