• Issue purchase orders for equipment, material and/or services for business clients from approved requisition(s) in a timely manner ensuring spending limits of authority are maintained and goods and/or services are received when expected.• Maintain operational disciple and compliance of the procurement processes by following high level work processes that address the requirements of our policies ad procedures as specifically indicated within: a) The Requisitioning Process b) Purchasing Process and Contract Administration c) Supplier Qualification• Interact with operations, engineering and/or maintenance groups to coordinate, approved suppliers, project schedules, etc.• Use preferred vendor lists in processing orders for sites.• Provide an uninterrupted flow of goods and services to all Quinn business units.• Maintain regular contact with Preferred Vendors for the purpose of exchanging information related to processing orders, facilitating transport and delivery of services.• Develop new suppliers or contractors as required for the business units.• Ensure best value in procurement for Quinn internal requirements as well as all client third party services.• Ensure accurate and timely delivery.• Consult with Purchasing Manager on all specialized requests, process or policy matters.• Initiate the pre-qualification process at the request of the Site Coordinator, Turnaround Leader/Coordinator or Sales Team and maintain tracking and completion of the process.• Maintain regular contact with Preferred Vendors to exchange information.• Assist in evaluation financial strengths and weaknesses of vendors• Ensure high quality maintenance for all purchasing related files and databases.• Perform daily posting of all Purchasing related orders as required by all locations.• Submit purchase orders regularly to accounting
