A professional educator with highly effective communication skills, a broad knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and particular expertise in Behaviour Management strategies and interventions. Based on my commitment to establishing trust and sharing high aspirations, I develop a rapport with both colleagues and students, enabling them to feel valued, at ease and empowered to learn. I am able to work at strategic and operational levels, prioritising well and being skilled at developing good working partnerships with a range of agencies and other professionals. Although an independent and values-driven thinker, I am also a strong team player who is supportive of my staff. I model learning by my own constant learning and through developing my practice to ensure that I am the best that I can be. I am presently reading materials on managing Challenging Behaviour and Emotional Difficulties.
