I have over twenty years of experience in the complex and nuanced contemporary art world following a BA Hons degree in History of Art at the University of Bristol. I have worked at the upper echelons of the industry, which includes high-profile artist studios (Anish Kapoor and Marc Quinn), commercial galleries (White Cube / The Gallery of Everything / Saatchi Gallery) and national and international art fairs (London Art Fair, Frieze Masters, Art Stage Singapore, India Art Fair, Scope NYC & Basel, Context Art Miami). Ahead of the curve in 2014, I conceived a nomadic curatorial partnership Mehta Bell Projects with my business partner, where we cultivated a global network of clients and collectors, and a broad international network of artists to collaborate on pop-up exhibitions and art fairs to sell and promote their work. In 2020 I launched Offshoot Arts independently, a hybrid art consultancy and gallery dedicated to supporting and promoting emerging and mid-career international artists through curated online presentations, private consultancy, collaborations and curatorial projects. This runs compatibly alongside my curatorial work with A Space for Art where my extensive expertise working with artists and curating exhibitions, connects exceptional art with exceptional spaces. It capitalizes on my skills in client and artist liaison, responding to client briefs to convey company and brand values, and to complement interior design schemes through artwork presentations. These exhibitions create marketing and sales opportunities for artists and gallery partners, and provide USPs for our space partners in supporting the arts. These exhibitions create memorable visitor experiences and enhance hospitality and corporate environments which contribute to client engagement, retention and wellbeing accreditation. I am highly organised and motivated – I have been involved in business development and implementing company systems and structures in several roles; I am confident and capable of managing complex and multiple projects and workloads. Adept at working within high-pressure and demanding environments, I rise to the challenge and have a dynamic and positive attitude. I work flexibly and with versatility, managing a team or working independently, to ensure any tasks are completed to the highest degree, often taking the initiative to get the job done.
