Melissa Dodson, Ph.D. is Director of Operations and Support in the Division of Instructional Materials and Implementation (IMI) at the Texas Education Agency (TEA). In this role, she leads a team of Project Managers to support implementation of a portfolio of initiatives to support high-fidelity implementation of high-quality instructional materials. She has more than 20 years of experience partnering with K-12, post-secondary, and state agencies, as well as industry leaders and community members to build broad capacity to improve education for underserved and underrepresented students. She has directed a variety of education grants and contracts at local, state, and federal levels and with foundations. She's a member of the Women in Leadership Legacy (WILL) in Austin, Texas.
