Melissa became a director of Bell Phillips Architects in 2016, having joined the practice in 2006. She graduated to the role of director due to her strong design sensitivity and astute strategic decision making and practice management. She has extensive experience in designing regeneration and residential projects, as well as urban design and public buildings, and her negotiation and consultation skills have assisted many projects in the office from inception to completion. She has worked extensively with local authorities across London and the South East as well as a number of high-profile private sector clients. Melissa currently leads a variety of projects including estate regeneration and masterplan schemes, as well as new public buildings for public and private sector clients in Central London.
